The Magazine
To help those who need it the most eat better and lead a healthier life.
Food Bank Food is a non-profit start-up social enterprise with the sole purpose of helping those people who need it the most, eat better and live a healthier life.
Ian, a food and lifestyle blogger, writes and shares a lot of recipes to help families eat well and healthy, but keeping to a strict budget. However, it dawned on him that potentially the type of food and budget he sticks to (about
a fiver for dinner, to feed his three kids and himself), however low it was, would still be out of reach to thousands of other people across the UK.
It didn’t take much research to conclude that with there being over 2000 active food banks serving communities all over the UK. That there are tens of thousands of people NEEDING to access these resources in order to survive each week.
